Printing Agreement

Last updated January 1, 2024

This Printing Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between you ("the Author") and HFC Publishers LLC, with the following address:

1201 North Market Street Suite 111-G25, Wilmington, DE 19801, USA

HFC Publishers LLC reserves the right to periodically update this Printing Agreement. By using the HFC Publishers LLC website and availing printing services, Authors acknowledge and agree to be bound by this Agreement. Continued use of the service following the Agreement changes implies acceptance of the updated terms.

Purpose of Agreement:
This Agreement serves the following purposes:

1. Printing Services and Pricing:

Authors have the opportunity to utilize HFC Publishers LLC's printing services. In this arrangement, HFC Publishers LLC reserves the right to receive the negotiated printing price. The cost of printing services is influenced by various factors, including the book's volume, quantity, size, paper quality, special features like inserts and bookmarks, as well as the choice of black and white or color printing, among other relevant considerations.

It's important to note that the cost of printing services is not standardized; instead, it is tailored to each project's unique characteristics. HFC Publishers LLC will prepare a comprehensive offer after receiving the author's printing request. This offer will be customized to reflect the specific printing requirements, ensuring a transparent pricing structure that aligns with the project's distinctive features.

2. Minimum Printing Quantity:

HFC Publishers LLC has established a minimum printing quantity for book orders, which is set at 1000 copies. This minimum requirement is in place to facilitate efficient printing processes that meet the author's needs. By implementing this minimum order quantity, we aim to provide cost-effective printing solutions while upholding the high standards of quality expected by both authors and readers.

In cases where an author's printing request falls below this minimum threshold, we encourage authors to engage in discussions with HFC Publishers LLC. These conversations can explore options for accommodating unique circumstances, ensuring a tailored approach to each project's printing needs.

3. Term:

Authors have the discretion to opt-out of using HFC Publishers LLC's printing services before printing begins, without the need for advance notice.

4. Author's Rights:

Authors can choose HFC Publishers LLC for high-quality book printing. Upon acceptance of the offer and receipt of funds by HFC Publishers LLC, the author is entitled to a complimentary printed copy of their book for review. If dissatisfied, a full refund for HFC Publishers LLC printing services is available.

After receiving the free printed copy, authors have 3 days to confirm satisfaction or provide corrections via email. Only the first printed book copy is free; subsequent copies or corrections may incur charges. This process ensures authors are content with the final product.

When an Author requires an ISBN (International Standard Book Number) and/or barcode, it indicates a more comprehensive publishing service, governed by the Book Self-publishing agreement.

5. Author's Obligations:

Authors must maintain a positive reputation for HFC Publishers LLC by acting professionally and ethically on the platform, with partners and fellow authors. This includes adherence to platform guidelines and standards, contributing to a positive and trustworthy literary community.

6. Disputes:

This Author Agreement is governed by Delaware state laws. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration following the American Arbitration Association rules, and judgments may be entered in relevant courts.

7. Indemnities:

Authors indemnify and defend HFC Publishers LLC from legal claims related to issues such as unsatisfactory work, ownership, libel, slander, plagiarism, privacy violations, and copyright infringement.

8. Confidentiality:

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding this Agreement's terms and provisions, except when compelled by a court order or subpoena. Disclosure to accountants or attorneys is permissible if they agree to comply with the terms and for advice-seeking purposes.

9. Force Majeure:

Neither party is liable for delays or failures in performance due to factors beyond their control, including acts of God, governmental actions, war, natural disasters, labor strikes, and other similar causes.

10. Author's Obligations:

Authors must maintain a positive reputation for HFC Publishers LLC by acting professionally and ethically on the platform, with partners and fellow authors. This includes adherence to platform guidelines and standards, contributing to a positive and trustworthy literary community.

Authors are also required to be transparent about the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in their work. Whether AI is involved in the writing process partially or completely, authors should clearly disclose its role in their work, ensuring transparency about the creative process.
